Hello everybody,

I want to start to improve a new model by forklift. Can veryone tell me where can I find some documentation about forklifts design (base concepts, components, etc.) ?

They use a bunch of the Winkle stuff in foundry machines though I think that it's main use is in forklift masts.

From my very small experience with forklifts I got the impression that the brake and clutch were the first expensive items to fail. All the starts and stops.

Look in ASME B56.1 "Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks"
