Hello guys, i hope you are all doing well.

I am trying to design a Cylindrical Pressure Vessel in ASME VIII code, but I didn't find anything useful orientation. My equipment is divided in floors and each one of them has internal pressure, i would like to know if it's possible to use stamped reinforcement like the figure attached.

We usually design the reinforcement using pipes, because of ASME recommendations, but in the past we had already used this kind of reinforcement. I already have checked UG 34, UG 47 and Appendix 17 (Dimpled or Embossed Assemblies).

Do you have any tips for this application?

Kind regards,

Richam.
