As part of my degree course I have to design a cryogenic distillation column to separte CO and CH4 (part of a syngas plant) to produce very nearly pure CO.

The problem is I can't remember how to do plate-to-plate calculations, or what to do with them afterwards.

If anyone could give me some pointers (as opposed to references to books!!!) I'd be extremely grateful.

Thanks

Hi Tova, it's Luke, are you still stuck on your Design Project or is it sorted?

Im in Spain by the way, working for GE Plastics, and I can't get my hotmail, so if you get this, you can text me your email address, and I'll drop you a line.

good luck

Hiya Luke!

How's work going? Is it fun being a grown up chemical engineer?

I can't do any design project at the mo because my computer seems to be missing a few important things, like Solver, but it should be sorted by tonight then I can try to do plate-to-plate calculations again.

Have fun!
