I am investigating about a building envelope system (reinforced concrete building with a glazed facade) which can resists blast loads. I am willing to apply the blast load using Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD), and then try to find the responce of the structure by considering fluid structure interaction. In this building laminated glasses which can provide a blast resistance (by absorbing energy)are used for the building facade.
Questions
1) According to my current knowledge, I am thinking of using ANSYS for the CFD analysis and then use LS-DYNA for the structural analysis part. But I have a doubt whether we can couple ANSYS results with LS-DYNA (whether we can use LS-DYNA in ANSYS work bench)
2)I have heard that ANSYS-AUTODYN is also a very good software for blast analysis by considering fluid structure interaction. Does any anyone can tell me, what kind of softwares that I can use in my analysis ?
3) In ABAQUES 6.10 and ABAQUES 6.11 user manuals, it is mentioned that we can do both CFD analysis and structural analysis in ABAQUES. Has anyone tried it ?
