Design parameter

I have a very basic question


I would like to define a design parameter but I don t know how to do that. In fact the parameter are not displayed so when I do :


Analysis > Mechanica Design controls > Design params > create


then I have nothing which i can select.

I have the same problem with Pro/E, how can i display the dimensions in the main window and how can i modify their symbolic names ?

To display dimensions in the main window, highlight the feature in the model tree, right-click & select Edit (not Edit Definition).


Highlight the dimension you want to modify, right-click & select Properties.


Go the the second tab, inthe the name box, enter the parameter name you want.
