I am designing a exhaust steam duct at the back of steam turbine connecting the aircooled condenser. I have to select proper expansion bellows (metallic) and calculate the anchor forces and order the right expansion bellows. Any references on how to do this? I am using Caesar-II pipe stress anaysis program already.
Thanks

They have some experience in this. But to give their opinion they will need more information and also schematic drawings and details.

Hi,

Take a look at ASME B&PV Code Section VIII Div. 1 Appendix 26. Also the Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association has detailed design guidelines. At the worst, write a finite element model for it if you have access to Cosmos, etc.
