We just upgraded to 2006 sp3.1 from 2005 sp5.0 yesterday and now when anybody starts a session of SW a dialog box pops up and tells you "A journal file could not be created. Another session of SolidWorks may already be running on this machine." I have checked and verified that no other instance of SW is running. Has anybody else had this problem?

Thanks,

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

When you 'checked and verified', did you:-

Check the Task Manager on each machine for the SLDWORKS.exe process?
Run a search for swxJRNL.swj on each machine and network drives?
