design guide for glass parts

I need to design some glass labware and an not find a design guide for glass. Can you show me where to get one?

I want something like the plastics suppliers publish.

Contact some glass suppliers. They are the ones who are going to have to read your drawings.

Also search contents of forum329 Glass Engineering.

There is not much traffic in Glass Engineering so maybe you did a good thing by posting your question in "ME other topics".

The review of the book you suggested did not sound like what I want. However I did find another book called "Introduction to Glass Science and Technology Introduction to Glass Science and Technology". It really sounds like it more for the Chemist than a Mechanical Engineer though.

I did a search of eng-tips for glass and didn't even find the glass forum. I did go over there and asked them if they knwo where to find one.
