Design Examples for Tieback anchorage to piles and drilled shaft

Is there a good design manual or book that explains how to design the tieback anchorages to H piles and drilled shafts for tiedback walls? Specifically, load transfer from the tiebacks to the soldier piles/ drilled shafts.

Different contractors and designers may use different arrangements (and therefore different designs) for their tieback anchor bearing plates and anchorages. Other than books by possibly Blodgett and Roark, I am unaware of any good design manual or book that explains what you asked about.

The Leonhardt's text on prestressed concrete had significant amount of data on end transfer loads to concrete. However I do not remember treating the specific case of soldier piles being there specifically treated.

On the steel side can be treated by the simplified usual ways, or more complicated models as in FEM programs.

For the concrete side the info in Leonhardt's, PTI handbook etc should help.
