I am interested in a list of companies that design petroleum platforms from scratch.

When a proposal is written up for a new platform, I am looking for the companies that bid on those proposals.

If anyone knows where I could get the information of the compaines that would do the bidding, that would be great.

Thanks for your time,

Jeremy

Jeremy- bascially all the big engineering contractors will design & build platforms: KBR, Bechtel, Kvearner, Foster Wheeler, etc. There are also specialist companies like Mustang who will do the design but not the construction, and niche companies that offer special types of offshore installation like Atlantia with their mini-TLPs or SPARtech with their spars.
