Hi,I've been asked to design cables to lift amodular building(40,000 lbs)in Canada.I realy don't know which code/referance I should follow?
Thank you

In the U.S. I believe it is ANSI B30 that governs on hoisting and rigging.

Another good source is the Crosby Company. Their catalog contains a large amount of information on wire rope/cables and rigging.
