Hello everyone,I’m working on the geometric design of a centrifugal pump impeller and need guidance on drawing its meridional (axial) section. Specifically, I’d like to : Determine the axial extension z_E and the radii of curvature R_DS and R_TS for the front and rear shrouds (see Chap. 7.2.2.1 in Gülich’s “Centrifugal Pumps”). Compute all key diameters (d1, d1i, dn, d2), widths (b1, b2) and clearances (g1). Relate these to the blade inlet/outlet angles beta1 and beta2 and the minimum throat area A1q. What formulas or step-by-step procedures do experts use to position z_E, R_DS, R_TS, and construct the meridional outline? Any references would be hugely appreciated. Thank you!
