Deliberatly breaking a link to a variable

Hi,

I am using a spreadsheet to drive the dimensions of a part. I intend on creating many variations of the same part and want to save these separately. Since many of the dimensions are driven from the spreadsheet variables, how can I break the link to the spreadsheet so when I re-open one of the versions, the current data in the spreadsheet will not update the part?

I have a feeling this is something SE is very good at, but I must be missing something obvious....

Hi Tim,

- in Variables Table select the link to be removed
- when selected press spacebar once and hit ENTER (!)

this should clear the link.
