Hi
Is there a way to delete a sketch linked to other sketches without deleting the
The sketches that are linked to it

Thanks in advanced

Query the sketch that you want to delete, and make note of all the features that depend on it (its "child" features). Each of the child features will need to be edited to remove the dependency on the parent sketch.

For example, let's say that sketch1 and sketch2 are both simple rectangles. One of the lines in sketch2 is constrained to be co-linear with a line in sketch1. Edit sketch2 to remove/redefine the constraint that ties it to sketch1 before deleting sketch1.

Hi cowski

That is my problem
in the graphics window I see
magenta dashed sketch curve ( links between sketches)
but in the sketch show/remove constraint I see something like this

A3 Tangent to L3

without info to wich sketch are belong
if show/remove constraint was like this

A3:sk01 Tangent to L3:sk00

their is no problem to identify the links and remove them

Thank you for your replie

If there is no info to the sketch being referenced then it is referencing a curve within itself, in other words it is not referencing a different sketch.
