Delayed update on edit-for suppress/unsuppress command

At present Delayed update is limited to feature edits only.I thought it would be nice if the Delayed Update is applicable to Suppress/Unsuppress features also. To reduce the update time.

For instance, I will model both round and square cutouts and keep the square suppressed. When i want to switch to square, i wish to activate delayed edit>suppress the round>unsuppress the square>update the model in one go.

At present it NX updates twice, first when you suppress and second time when you unsuppress.

Isnt it a workable idea?

OK, try this. If you can have both features unsuppressed at once you can set this up in a single step, but if not you will need to do it twice to get it set up.

Go to...

Edit -> Feature -> Suppress by Expression...

...and with the 'Expression Option' set to 'Create for Each', select the feature(s) which you wish to control the suppressed status of and hit OK. Now go to the Expression dialog and you will find an Expression was created, which is currently set to a value of '1' for each feature selected. Edit the value for the feature(s) you wish to be suppressed by default to '0' and hit OK.

I the future, all that you have to do when you wish to switch features is to go to the Expression dialog and change the values of these Expressions, setting the '1' to '0' and the '0' to '1', and then hit OK and you will only have a single update.

Now if this is some sort of template part which you will be making this choice on a regular basis, you could simplify this even future by setting up a single Expression value which using some 'IF' logic, will allow you to swap the zeros and ones by making a single edit.

Anyway, this will give you the desired behavior with just a bit of extra set-up time.
