Deformable parts and Exploded Views are great, but not together. It appears you cannot move a deformed part when making an Exploded View.

Our workaround, is to leave the deformed part in place, and move all the other parts in making the Exploded View.

This sounds like a bug/enhancement that should be submitted to GTAC.
Thoughts?

Are you using the master model method (add assembly as component to drawing file)?
If you use the master model method and create the exploded view in the drawing file, you shouldn't have any problems moving (exploding) the deformed components.

I'm not surprised. While you can ask GTAC to open a PR, I suspect that it would be converted into an ER, but it's still worth doing as we collecting issues related to such things as exploded views and this seems to be a valid issue for inclusion on that list.

We do use the Master Model methodology, yes.
Thanks for responses. I run it past GTAC.
