This is somehow related to my problem regarding an error when trying to design a flexible routing part (Same error here but without routing involved.
I'm trying to design a deformable part where the shape of the deformable features is controlled by constraints between the features and components in the part.
Please see the whole process in this video
In an example part I have two disks (components) connected by a tube (feature). The tube and it's guide line are defined deformable. When the example part is added to a top level assembly a deformation feature is created automatically and I encounter an error. Deforming the part manually produces the same error.

The syslog file shows a similar error as in the other case when trying to create a flexible routing part: "+++ tag 51493 is not of class class UGS::WireFrame::Curve but is a UGS::POINT"
