Definition of "Rail-to-Rail"

When you look at an Operational Amplifier datasheet.
What does the phrase "Rail-to-Rail" mean?

It should mean that the output will go nearly to the plus/minus voltage supplies. Many op-amps end up several volts inside the supply rails.
