Hi there!
I am trying to simulate a honeycomb pattern core material, and I can't figure out what means what in the datasheet and the Abaqus material card.
My questions are what do the D1111 D1122... cells mean? I have access to the following properties of the material:
Compressive Bare Strength, Compressive Stabilized Strength, Compressive Stabilized Modulus, Plate shear L direction strength and modulus, Plate shear W direction strength and modulus.

I have also attatched the datasheet of the material. It is the "HRH-10 – 3/16 – 3.0" the one I need to simulate.

Thank you for the help in advance!
Best regards, Róbert

There’s more than one way to define orthotropic material in Abaqus. You can provide engineering constants (that’s likely the most common and the most user-friendly approach since you just have to input Young’s moduli, Poisson’s ratios and shear moduli for each of the three directions) or specify the terms in the elastic stiffness matrix (that’s what you described as D1111 and so on). Check the documentation chapter "Linear Elastic Behavior", both methods are described there in detail and the aforementioned matrix terms are also presented in a clear form.

Not familiar with honeycomb pattern core material. But you may find guideline in "Numerical modelling of Nomex honeycomb cores for local analyses of sandwich panel joints" or search papers/articles online for more information.
Besides, defining orthotropic material is straight forward like normal isotropic material. As already suggested, refer help manual-"Linear elastic behavior"
