defining fn keys (eg. F12)

Ya' know you can create a button/ icon, if you wish.
Just make sure the properties say the following ....
^C^C_shell;calc.exe;
But if you wish to assign the F12 key this function then just write it the same under the ACAD.mnu file under the accelerators section for F12.
Here's a link to thread which had some discussion on re-programming the "F" keys.
