Is there anyone who knows what is the definition of 6 types: Damper, Gap, Hook, Plastic1, Isolator 1 and Isolator 2 when you define NLLink properties?

Especially, I would like to know what is the difference between Plastic1 and Damper. Both can use for Nonliear time history analysis but the results are differents. I saw two examples(Ex.10a & Ex.11a) in "Software Verification Manual. You'll see the link shear force is equal of the sum of two bracing forces in case of using Damper. But the shear link force is less than the sum of two bracing force in case of using Plastic 1. For me, the results of the second one are stranges. Can anyone explain it for me?

Please see attached file to understand what I'm trying to explain.

Thank you very much.
