could anyone help me with the definition of the center of the resistance in a building or anywhere )
and the difference between this and center of stiffness , im really in need of knowing it ,
tnx for your help )

Usually it's the location where a shear load can be applied without inducing torsion and it's interchangeable with the centre of stiffness. If you google "shear center", you'll get the idea.S

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.
