Hi to All,
In which activities consist DCS SAT?
It is possible to perform any of these activities if no field instruments are installed?
Thanks.

It helps if you explain what DCS means (or don't use acronyms, as they can mean different things to people in different industries). What are the "field instuments" that will not be present for the acceptance test of whatever the DCS is?

DCS = Distributed Control System
I am talking about industrial plants....

Substantial amounts of functional testing can be carried out with process simulation, but if you were buying several million $$ worth of DCS equipment, would you approve the installation without it being hooked up? Not a chance.
