Hi All,

I am sort of new to my IE position (just graduated college-with a degree in psychology :) and wanted to reach out to all you helpful professional!

I just finished my 6th time study (on our Receiving department) in my Distribution Center. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to analyze my data? In the past I have done a number of things with the data, and utilized my StatUmt software, but for some reason i think there has to be more analyses I could run with all this data. Otherwise why would there be so many books devoted to this stuff? haha...

Specifically, i wanted to ensure i was calculating projected associate performance percentage accurately. Currently, i multiply all units produced by that elemental time in standard minutes and add them together, divide by 60 ...and I believe divide that by "Actual Hours" worked? Does that seem correct?

More generally, does anyone have ideas of how else i could play with data? or how to improve DC processes?

Thank you so much all! I really appreciate your help in advance!

Sincerely,
L
