Does anyone have any ability to pull part data directly from the web and generate library symbols and footprints?

Yes. It is really easy to draw symbols and make footprints. Its the SPICE you have to worry about. I dont know SPICE, but I have drawn many footprints/symbols for my designs.

Have you tried checking your software's web site. They often have premade symbols & footprints for various manufacturers. Steve Smith
