Hello,

I am using a torque sensor to mesure the torque and speed of a three phase brushless electric motor. I need to choose a data acquisition device to acquire the signals from this torque sensor and communicate it with Labview. I am planning to choose a National Instrument product but I don't really know what specification to look for that is coherent with my application. The torque sensor is able to take 10000 mesure per second. With this information, what should I be looking for when choosing the right data acquisition device? Can anyone help me please?

Hi Trainee28,

What the sensor is capable is one thing but it depends on what you would like to observe. Most likely you will not need 10kHz sampling rate but even if you would need that is not a problem. Have a look what NI offers e.g. the USB 6009 logger.
