Damping in Static analysis

Hi all,
I am trying to see dissipated energy in a two-layer system which a tire is rolled on its surface. In this regard, I am using Raleigh Damping option (Alpha and Beta coefficients). For, this model I apply loads with different amplitudes on the segmented path of tire. So this case, can be regarded as a quasi-static problem. But, I cannot see any dissipated energy due to damping (ELVD and EVDDEN) in the layer. Can anybody help me with this issue?

Are you sure that this kind of damping can be used in a static analysis?

Keyword Reference Manual said:
*Damping
This option is used to provide material damping for mode-based analyses and for direct-integration dynamic analysis in Abaqus/Standard and for explicit dynamic analysis in Abaqus/Explicit.
