How can I calculate the maximum torque required for a damper actuator? Or to put it another way, how do I calculate expected torque for my airflow in a circular duct?

In the past I've used vendor information to find our values.

I do not have access to my notes right now, so I cannot say which vendors for certain would provide how to calculate this, but I would suggest googling "Ruskin" and "Greenheck".

May even try calling them for technical support.

cheers.
