D7380-soil compaction determination using dcp

in case everyone here didn't realize it, astm now has a method for evaluating compaction with dcp (D7380). i was curious what you folks think about the method. i haven't personally read it but i'd say it migth be little hoaky unless it has a lot of caveats (which i think it does by looking at the summary). i'll have my hands on the method this week and can pass along what it looks like. here's the summary that describes it.
