It basically takes a slice, and returns the result in one of several ways, including a volume showing the cutaway of the solid body or assembly. ----------------------------------------------------------- Catia Design|Catia Design News|Catia V5 blog Upvote 0 Downvote

With the DMU product, the section appears in the tree as an application, and you can export your results. ----------------------------------------------------------- Catia Design|Catia Design News|Catia V5 blog Upvote 0 Downvote

I've seen 3d images 1/4th cut part in assembly to see the interior in pro engineer. So there is no way to do this in catia? Upvote 0 Downvote

Use a 'split' operation. ----------------------------------------------------------- Catia Design|Catia Design News|Catia V5 blog Upvote 0 Downvote
