Hello all.

I need to cut out this section, and I think I need to use revolve cut. Here is a picture. Can someone tell me how to cut out this section along the interior of this wall?

Can you tell us the software you are using?

"Art without engineering is dreaming; Engineering without art is calculating."

Have you read faq731-376 to make the best use of these Forums?

Yeah, definitely SolidWorks. You can tell by the shadow below the piece.

I would cut the circular channel in first by revolving the cut profile, then add the slots. Easier than how you have it laid out and probably the way the machinist would do it.

Regards,
Cockroach
