I have created an assembly with three cutaway views in it. I put the assembly into drafts and everything works fine. My exploded view is all in tact, the cutaway views are all there, but how do I make the the draft color? I can't find where to turn the draft into a color one to make it easier to identify each part. I am using SE V18 SP7, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Andrew,

When you select a view the main toolbar will give you the option to turn on shading with grey scale or color. Are you not seeing these options in the toolbar?

I don't think you can change the entire drawing to color in one command. Each view must have shading turned on individually.

I chose to import into drafts as an exploded view, so there is only one view, and that's usually ISO. When I select the view the shading buttons are greyed out. This is happening for this situation only, shading works fine for anything else. Thanks!

If the buttons are greyed out you probably have a draft view. These were previously called snapshot views (or something similar). Basically, they just show an image of the model - but it updates - as opposed to seeing a window of the actual geometry. Therefore, the geometry is not present in the view in order to render it.

On the properties of the view (right click on the view and select properties), is there any switch available to tell it to not be a draft (quality) view?
