Cut list length issue

Hi All,

I have a 2 cut list items, and I want to link their Length cut-list property to an equation parameter that is linked to a dimension.

ie. length = "d1@sketch3"

then

cut-list property: Length = length@@@cut-list-1@Weldment....

This works fine for me, but it only works on the first cut-list item. My second entry (plateL) just outputs the parameter link: "plateL@@@cut-list-1@Weldment.." instead of the value of the parameter?

Am I only able to link 1 cut-list item to a parameter?

Do I have to create each part as a Structural profile to be able to extract the lengths?

60% of the time, it works every time.

Hello,

The 2nd cut list item was created using a Boss/Extrude and not a Weldment feature, right?

If so, you need to do a right mouse button on the 2nd cut list item and manually add the properties for length etc.
