Custom Properties to XML

The company I am working for mostly uses 2D AutoCad and data is extracted from the drawing title blocks and written into an XML file which is then imported ino the SAP system.
They also use Solid Edge and the same data needs to be extracted from draft files.
Does anyone know of a macro that will extract SE Custom properties and write them into an XML file?

There were some folks at the 2006 PLM World that did something vaguely similar. Unfortunately I can't recal the details, sorry. Maybe your local VAR can get the info for you.
