Custom Menu Problems.

Does anyone know how to create a double line menu label. I've heard of this being done but can't find out how to do it.

Do you mean you want to create a label for the "Multiline" command on a toolbar? If you have AutoCAD 2004 it is easy. I not certain how to do it with previous versions.

I have created pulldown menus to insert certain notes into my drawings. The names get rather lenghty to display all of it in one line on the screen so I'm trying to split it to two selectable lines. Like this label:

[&2. FINISH: APPLY TEFLON PENETRATED HARD ANODIZE COATING PER MIL-A-8625 TYPE III, CLASS 1, TO ALL SURFACES EXCEPT WHERE NOTED. BUILD-UP PER DIAMETER TO BE .002 INCHES MAX. RACK WITH ELECTRODES.]

I'd like this to display this on 2 lines on the pulldown menu instead of one continuous line.

Couldn't you just break it into 2 separate labels, and the user could select either label to insert the note?

Yea, I was thinking of doing that but it confuses some of the other people who use the menu. They think it's two diffrent notes instead of one. Thanks for the input.

Instead of putting this long text in the label, use helpstrings in your menus. I am assuming that you are using notes that are wblocked, not using a macro to enter this text in mtext.
(just copy and paste into Notepad, it wordwraps here on the net)
In this example, "Coating_Note" and "SSTube_Note" are the names of the blocks.
