Question of the day: A Custom Item type in Teamcenter v9, call it part A. Open the part, do a save as normal, and the new part is indeed the custom item type. Add part A to a pallete... open the pallete and it immediately prompts you for the new name (we'll call it part B) and the resulting item type is NOT the custom item type but rather the OOTB Item type...
Why? Any ideas? I've checked the pallete file and the custom item type is included... so why is it saving as a normal OOTB item type????
Regards,
SS
CAD should pay for itself, shouldn't it?
