We use a CSI Ultraspec 8000 vibration Collector and we are having problems with the spectrums showing a value below the low frequency cutoff point. We set our cutoff point at 225 cpms. When we collect a vibration reading the collector will say we have date at 75 cpms even though when we place the cursor at 75 cpms there is no data show, just a number. This number is being calculated into the overall readings causing the oveall numbers to exceed acceptable levels. Has anyone had this problem?

Dear leba,
You need to check your setting. Please post your setting and the transducer type to give you more specific answers.

Dear VibrationSpecialist,
The list of setup parameter is very long. If you like I could email them as a MS word doc. One note, the collector has been sent to CSI and they can't find anything wrong. We have even used one of there loaners with the same results. We have tried several cables and Accelerometer combinations without any difference. When using an Entek datapac 1500 this problem is not shown. I might add this problem never showed up until we changed over to CSI's 32 bit software. They have said there is a glitch is the soft ware, but our problem exibits in the collector and shows up when we do a printout from the collector. CSI said they have a few users in our general area using the same equipment and they are not having a problem. They have also said they don't think they will update the firm wear for the collector. Any ideas?
