Anyone seen any forecasts for power equipment pricing or steel pricing? I am just curious if experts think the prices will continue to rise despite the global economic downturn. Thoughts?

The word that you are hearing from steel companies and iron ore miners is that prices look like they will take a breather at or slightly below current levels for somewhere between a few months to a year and a half.
Then expect steel to return to the original trend line. The forces that have caused steel prices to recover from the very depressed levels of the 90's will not go away.
