Guys,
I was think about using Virgin PTFE as the sealing gasket for my valve but my project requires valve to be both cryo + firsafe. Now the only thing that comes to my mind is graphite but i have tried that and the valve leaks. Do you guys have any suggestions on what to use ? Is it a special kind of graphite coz i tried it with 99% pure graphite gasket. Please advise

what type of valve are you looking at solving the problem on, where will the gasket be, will it be full dymanic function, static or semi-static & what is service liquid...
Pure graphite with internal armour are used on triple offset butterfly valves (between disc & sealing ring).
If you can narrow the above points down, we may be able to assist.
Ciao,
