Does anyone have some data/comments (firsthand) on the performance of CPCC
used as flexible base? Preferably with only a chip seal as the final riding surface.

Thanks

Works great for that application. With chip seal you don't have to worry about reflective cracking. I would prime it though.

When hot mix asphalt is used over it, be sure you prime and tack...but expect some reflective cracking as it ages. The crushed concrete will "re-heal" with some unreacted cement, thus you will have a semi-rigid base with a flexible pavement surface...still works great though...certainly no worse with reflective cracking than soil-cement base and in my experience you have fewer cracks.
