We have found that out crude unit naphtha stabilizer overhead water has been decolourized. The colour is yellowish and some times forming was observed. Can anyone help me in identifying the possible causes please? There were no changes in crude feed or other operating parameters. Water was almost clear previously. The main crude column overhead water is still clear in colour. only the stabilizer water has been decolourized.

The water used to be clear/colourless, then turned yellowish, right?
Is it still water or are you looking at naphtha? Faulty level in the water boot?
If not, what all have you analysed on it and what are the results?

Sorry my bad, I thought you had an actual problem and were actually looking for help.
