Crossmain to Branch

Hi experts!

Do we have minimum riser nipple length for connections of cross main to branch?

Due to ceiling height limitation, I used a tee connection instead so as to achieve minimum length of 25mm from sprinkler deflector to ceiling slab.

Thank you in advance.

Riser nipples are not mandatory. You can have the branch lines tying on the main on each side to allow for more space against the ceiling.
