Hello.

I began using MSP today after learning few things about it and came across some problems.

What exactly is critical path? I tried setting the tasks and links so that there is at least one line that connects everything, but the critical path that it shows is only the last task of the project.

Also, when I create a recurring task with multiple subsections, why does the main body with the '+' sign present way more days than they should be?

Is this related to working time?

I have attached a file with fixed names so that I can get help. The project is in its initial stage and I want to learn properly before the project becomes very huge.

We haven't met our client yet, so after the underlined line, except for the actual deadlines, the dates are just there, but I want to figure out how to set critical path properly.

Thank you for your attention

MSP version that I have is 2007.

You know, there's a new thing on the web called Wikipedia. And it contains all sorts of interesting information like:
CP is basically the one path that cannot tolerate a schedule slip. This presumes that there are parallel paths that have slack. If you have a simple serial schedule, then the CP is that serial schedule.
