Has anyone done crevice corrosion testing on duplex sst S32550 (25Cr, 5Ni, 3.5 Mo, .2 N, 2 Cu) or similar with welds in the as welded condition? We have not gotten good results in the HAZ in ASTM G48 method A tests unless solution annealed, but have never done crevice corrosion or chloride environment tests. How will the HAZ/weld stand up in these environments?
