Creo files in editable format in other CaD packages?

Hello,

I have designed and created a product in Creo and would like to share it with a colleague. However we use two different CAD packages.

Is there a way to save Creo files in a format so that they can be opened and edited within another CAD package? STP files are ok to discuss a product but not to share expertise because I really need my colleague to be able to use the file and edit and change features to improve the design.

Thanks,

Hannah

What is the other CAD package?

The answer is most likely no; it really depends on the kernel of the other application. But Creo cannot generally edit features created in another CAD package, because their features and file definition are different.
