Creating volume for CFD analysis

Is there a simple way to create a solid model of the air space in a sheet metal assembly?.... It would be nice if it were parametric to the original model as well

Our assembly is basically pieces of flat (and sometimes bent) sheet metal put together making essential odd shaped duct work.

Any thoughts?

I use "Cutout" from assembly operations in the Edit menu. Take a look at the help on that topic - it should be enough to kick you off.
