Appart from special circumstances, we don't even bother to create internal threads and we only do revolves for externals. This has a hidden advantage. Unless you model your threads - even revolved ones - very carefully and mate them very carefully (screw that! Heh, heh, heh,...) there will always be SW drawing file graphics. Illogical edges disappear sometimes. And it make some interference checking tasks a real inconvenient pain.
