Creating Garter Spring in INVENTOR

Hey i am having some difficulties, creating a garter spring in inventor.

Does anybody know how it is modeled?

Garter Spring model

I've attached my attempt. It's a reasonable approximation, I think. It involved making a short coil of one revolution and then patterning it around a circle. There may be a better way, but I haven't come up with it yet.
