I have two related questions I hope someone can help me with:

1. Is there a way to find the centroid of an irregular shape in Sketcher?

2. Once I have the centroid of a number of sections, how can I snap to those centroids OUTSIDE of Sketcher, so that I can create a spline datum curve through those centroids?

Thank you very much for any responses.

There also seems to be no way to snap to intermediate points along a spline while in Sketcher.

The only way I can think of to mark the centroids is to approximate their positions and create line segments with one endpoint on the centroid. Then, when outside Sketcher, snap my new datum curve to those endpoints, as I create it.

I can't figure why ProE does not appear to have more general snap capabilities.
