Cost Comparison of Welding

Without getting into too many details, I would like to know if a comparible welding process on CR steel and 6000-aluminum is similar in cost? Taking into account weld prep time.

The reasons include various design options using steel or aluminum tubing, but all include welding operations.

Without going into details you could sketch simple structures and send them out for budgetary RFQ.
If you propose to supply raw materials you will get indications of weld cost.
